I fell in love with books at a young age, and growing up, whenever Dad realized I’d disappeared when I was supposed to be working, he usually found me hiding out somewhere with a book. Writing evolved from reading, and the first story I ever finished was in high school, about my celebrity crush. I got an A on that creative writing ‘assignment,’ though I’m not sure my teacher ever read all 187 pages. I started writing again in my mid-twenties, and no matter the journey my characters take, the end result is always the same—Happily Ever After.
After years of being a travel agent while writing on the side, I am now able to live my dream of being a full time writer. I’m still an avid reader, and also a fan of movies with that HEA. I live in my native Wisconsin with my husband and kids, and in my free time, I enjoy gardening, canning, and visiting my parents in Northeastern Wisconsin (Up North) at the family cabin on the lake.

This is an enjoyable read which had me laughing out loud several times about the mishaps of Tara Russell, her brother's Great Dane Sugar (if you've ever owned a Great Dane, you'll be able to relate), and the mystery man they meet on their way to the Town Fair, Wes Carter, a man with a dark past and a very bright future ... if only he can avoid the trouble with a capital 'T' that he fears Tara is. It's a typical romance novel, no explicit sex and not a lot of bad language, that any age can enjoy. The central characters all felt well-developed and the peripheral characters and setting also kept my interest. I see there are more books in this series, so I'm off to scrounge them up. I'm hoping Tara's hot, sexy, bad-boy biker/paramedic brother (and Sugar's 'daddy') will be up next in the queue to find his happily ever after?

This is Book 2 in the Welcome To Redemption series and I must say that I absolutely loved it! Ms. Netzel has a way of creating fun-loving characters and she has them dealing with hilarious situations in the process which makes any reader crack up laughing. I loved Sugar the Great Dane and felt she was the cherry on this sweet romantic story. I liked seeing that Tara’s family cared enough that they were overprotective of her, but I wanted them to at least give Wes a chance to prove himself to Tara and the rest of them before they tried chasing him away from her. If you want to find out how this story ends, you have to pick up a copy for yourself. Well done, Ms. Netzel! Please keep the stories coming!
