There are lots of great recipes that look delicious here. I might try some of them personally. The fact that there aren't calorie counts is very positive as well. Calorie counting is not something that should be normalized.
The actual weight loss propaganda was low in this book, which is certainly a good thing. However, none of these recipes are going to help anyone actually lose weight and keep it off, since only 5 percent of people are able to do that for more than 5 years.
These are recipes that people should try because they're delicious and healthy. Just declaring that a bunch of recipes will help people lose weight is not enough. There needs to be some evidence that this is the case, even though few people in the diet industry are able to meet even this low standard. This is for people who want to cook for health, not weight loss.
