The novel “The voice of Africa” tells the story of a young man born in New York who leaves the country with his father, going into the unknown, in a country very different from the United States, in Kisumu, a small forsaken town in Kenya, at the edge of Africa, a place full of dangers. Here, the main character will live unique experiences, will discover his great love, Africa and find his soulmate he can never part with, a young woman born in Kenya, named Lisa. In the end, the main character named Max realizes that the woman he has loved in his youth, named Diana, was not the right person for him because she never could have adapted to living in Africa. His life is here, in Africa, he belongs to this holy, red, warm land which has tamed along with his arrival here. The experiences he lives in this place, with the problems of the locals and the wildlife, will change his mentality, finally becoming a great doctor, a young man with his feet on the ground, the head of his family, and a man whom everyone can rely on, both the locals and his family.
