About L. Rigdon

Working out of my home office in Vancouver, WA, I have been an academic and professional writer since 2007. I earned my bachelor's degree from California State University, Stanislaus and graduated magna cum laude in 2008. At CSUS, I majored in English and minored in journalism. In 2013 I finished my master’s degree in literature and graduated with distinction. My graduate areas of focus included medieval literature, Renaissance Literature, gender theory, discourse theory, spatiality, psychoanalytical criticism, and semiotics.

Currently, I split my time between contract work and my own works of fiction.

Besides writing, I spend my time with my family and friends. On some days that involves hunting zombies and creepy dolls with my partners’ highly imaginative son. Other days may include hiking adventures, dancing at music concerts, singing in my band, Autumn Folk, pretending to be goth at Goth Clubs, experimental cooking in the kitchen, making quilts, sewing costumes, going out to movies, working out at 6 AM in the freaking morning, catching-up with my shows on Hulu and Amazon, or binge-watching Netflix.
