They say that everyone has a book inside them, but that's what happens when you go around upsetting librarians.
Unbelievably prolific in nature, Philip Michael Gilliver is a North-Walian author of mainly slightly cynical comedy, although he has been diverted into other areas. He has so far published six books and several short stories with a twist, all of which you can download for FREE from his website. Two of these are space comedies, two are horror/science fiction, one is an illustrated children's book, one is a supernatural comedy, which he has also adapted for stage.
If you asked Philip what he did, he would say, "I just put one word in front of another until I have a book or something, in front of me. Hopefully, the result will be something pleasing for the human eye to behold. Something which might lead to the sound of gentle laughter and a song in the heart, giving the reader something else to think about all day, but Brexit or any other of the many horrible and irritating things going on in the world, today, and what can be better than that?"
Not fortunate yet to do it as a full-time job, when he is not writing, he is helping students with disabilities in the college where he works.
Philip lives in Wrexham in North Wales with his wife of 25 years, his son, a Springer Spaniel and three cats. He has a BA (hons) degree in Literature with Media and a background in theatre and music. If you asked him what two things he loves most in the world, it's comedy and cheese, in fact his cheese comedies for children are legendary.
Meanwhile, he writes for the love of writing in the hope that those who love reading for the love of reading love reading what he loves to write, if that makes any sense.
When he is not doing either of these things, you can find him pinging the strings on his bass guitar with North Wales rock covers band Green Eyed Monsterz.
