About the Series: A Wuthering Heights Variation
A four-book series based on the classic romantic novel, Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. Weaving fact and fiction, the series offers a fresh interpretation of Wuthering Heights and attempts to solve an enduring literary mystery.

Emily Brontë was twenty-seven-years-old when she began writing Wuthering Heights in 1845.

What had inspired the story, no one could say, least of all Emily. The author was an enigma.

If her diaries had survived, what would they have revealed about the author and the story behind the story? How did an unworldly curate’s daughter dream up such a creature as Heathcliff and more significantly—why?

The series offers an answer to these questions while honouring Emily Brontë’s original work.
