Thematically reminiscent of Isaac Asimov's robot stories and Jack Williamson Humanoid series, but with a rather psychedelic style that gives it a sense of hallucinatory unreality. The text is generally easy to follow, you have handled the formatting fine. Your text is clear and your language is easy. It lacks not responsive dialogue and a certain amount of humor, sometimes with satirical sting. It is a modern story that makes use of social media and discusses man's relationship to development, technology and ideology. Besides, I agree with that assertion (from the point of view of those in power) the importance to keep people employed so they do not have time to indulge in visions of the future, and the like. I think you leave it pretty freely for the reader to decide whether the presented future would be to the world and humanity's benefit or not. There is a dichotomy, it may be intellectually satisfactory while being emotional deterrent.

Recommended to both young and old.
