About Kelly Bristow

I am a qualified Occupational therapist with a wealth of experience working with mental illness and traumatic brain injury. I work as a case manager and expert witness in my professional time.

My passion for writing began as a small child, where I would share my news with family and friends. I love to write stories and share tips and help with different health conditions and disabilities. I use mindfulness and compassion focused therapy in my role, complimenting this with recommendations for alternative healing modalities to empower and increase health and well being.

My writing covers many psychological topics, including behavioural challenges and strategies to reduce anxiety and agitation to restore equilibrium. The latest novel I have is called the Dark Knight of the Soul, a story that follows one woman's quest to escape from the clutches of her unstable husband.
