I truly enjoyed this small but really meaningful book! I liked the idea to do not despair, even in the most difficult situations, and to do not lose time in complaints, loosing the opportunities to watch at the positive side, that always exists.
In a clear, simple, but at the same time symbolic and deep way, the author writes this story suitable for adults and children. Very recommended for everyone wants to read a beautiful and well written story.

A short, but sweet story about Fishy's desire for freedom, and the way in which Birdy helps her to achieve that. Enjoyable and a nice quick read. I liked it very much, along with the message it sends to the reader in that you don't know how lucky you are until faced with your own privilege, and that there is always hope, you just have to find it.

I really enjoyed this story and I read it to my daughter. We laughed as we read it because we could really picture Fishy doing what was described in the book! I would like to read more children’s stories from this author in the future.
