Areeb, the Hat-Maker
Areeb opened her umbrella while she was walking with Mr. James who commented on her action,
- Now, do you consider yourself that you are a lady from this city?!
Without taking her eyes away from the road she said,
- I'm still that daughter who came from the desert. It is all that now I am a lady! More
In the heart of the desert, there was a big city whose buildings were made of mud bricks. In this city, there was a big merchant gathering, in which the merchants from the neighboring villages and cities were coming to display and sell their goods in a big street market twice a year.
Unusually, a blonde woman with a red hat was walking in the middle of the street. Her white skin and face features showed that she was a foreign to this Arabian city.
It looks like that she was searching for something; she stopped and requested the man, who was working with her as a guide and a translator, to ask one of the merchants about anyone who sells camels. A man told them about (Qasem), the most famous camel merchant in the city and he described to them the road to his shop.
