I've always enjoyed cookbooks, especially those with recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. This cookbook was no exception... from the fresh strawberry ice cream that requires no special gadgets to make—just a freezer and a pan, to the lemon syrup for homemade lemonade, to the brown bread and cloud biscuits, with lots of meat and poultry dishes as well, this cookbook serves up something for everyone and is a wonderful window into the world of old fashioned Maritime cooking!
