Reviews of Fallen Star by Richard Turner

I enjoyed reading Fallen Star, the book begins by showing how our heroes are drafted into serving this super secretive branch of the military and continues with UFO lore and an international shadow organization seemingly bent on manipulating world affairs.
The plot was engaging, the villains- believable, the heroes- human and the plot twist with ancient extinct animals added terror to what would otherwise have been a quaint rural town.
I would definitely read more books from Richard Turner

Pretty good story in all, and a very decent length. Fully contained, not like a lot of books now that expect you to buy the full 12 boxset, this is literally beginning, middle and end. Great story, great characters, nicely written.

Military men in a UFO story. They are involved in a project billed as a follow-on to project Blue Book. It starts with a raid in Iraq but most of the action takes place in a small town in Alaska. Government cover-ups, an international cartel and prehistoric monsters all join in the fun. It is violent but not absurdly so. There's not much science but plenty of fiction. There are male and female characters but only one teen age couple, the others are all singles and seem to be glad to stay that way. It's a good exciting read however.
