Taryn’s high school boyfriend Sean professes that his love for her is unchanged. That would be wonderful, except that three decades have passed, and he has not aged a day. Taryn, on the other hand has continued living her human existence, working, getting married, and having children.
Sean invites Taryn to revisit their time together in a dreamlike state. Her memories are enhanced when he allows her to see his reality too. It is in her past that she first encounters the enchanted beings that live beyond human perception. It is exciting to relive her youth with her family, especially seeing her mother that has since passed is overwhelming. The joy of falling in love for the first time is an emotional experience. His existance is built around music, nature, and celebrating life. The mesmerizing Irish music and dancing transports her back into his arms. It would be easy to stay in this perpetual dream state except for her family, and that she is human. Taryn's High School swim class, Halloween, and her Homecoming Dance are a few of her fondest, and terrifying memories. Reliving these experiences at another level of awareness is more harrowing than she ever could have imagined. Unseen by Taryn at the time was a force that was determined to do her harm.
