Well what can I say? I enjoyed this a lot more than I was expecting coming into it. I would say that this book is very unorthodox, so people who are expecting a book written like the classics may not like it. However, those who like originality should enjoy it.
Just some of the orthodoxies are the style of the book which is in a script format, there are riddles contained in the book, song recommendations for the reader while reading and a open ended dedication that alludes to something sinister lol.
At its core the plot is simple, but the plot takes place in a complex world which I found enjoyable. The creativity in the world and the fascinating characters drew me in from the start. Lots of little easter eggs contained throughout the book and some fun predictions about that future which always keeps it interesting.
All in all I would recommend this. It's only 50,000 words so you can knock it out in a weekend or even less if you're a faster reader. Seems a really relevant book today with the state of the world currently... so give it a go.
