Under Nebraska Skies

"I witnessed Earl Lasher's outbursts many times and tolerated them until I witnessed him kill a whiskey drummer in Ogallala. Then I watched as he rode off without me. His speed with a gun and killings followed him to every town he visited. Five years later we would meet again. I did not cherish that thought. I had no choice. This would be the hardest thing I've done in my life." - Calvin Hawk More
