About Liv Johannesson

Liv grew up outside of Gothenburg, Sweden. She started writing poetry and short-stories as a teenager, initially as something to do when she was bored. In her early twenties she fell in love with Jane Austen’s writing. The idea of being a writer was born when she learnt that Austen wrote to amuse family and friends before she became a published author.
Being a restless soul, Liv moved to the US for a few years to study for a Bachelor’s degree in Media and Communications. This also gave her opportunity to take classes in poetry writing, creative writing and literature.
Liv now lives in London where she continues to explore writing while working professionally as an architectural lighting designer. She is part of two writer’s groups: Greenwich Writers and Global Fusion Music and Arts, where she also does public readings of her poetry.
To amuse family, friends and anyone else who cares to read her stories, is still Liv’s main goal when writing and publishing.
Let Me Tell You A Story While You Sleep is her first self-published book.
