About K. J. Tesar

K. J. Tesar (Karel John) is an author who specialises in short stories, and poetry. Originally from New Zealand, he has lived in different countries, before finally settling in Italy, where he has now been living for many years. With his short stories he explores the human condition, delving into the thoughts, and deep emotions of his protagonists. His poetry further explores the darker side of life, often with a fractured, edgy, enigmatic style.

What amazing poetry! There are a couple of poems very specific to New Zealand, especially about New Zealand in the Passchendaele campaign of WW1. Incredibly emotional.

This is an outstanding collection of poetry. Some pieces very moving, others showing a darker reflection on life. Each poem has it's own unique style.
