About William Turnage

I’ve written two sci-fi thrillers, Extermination Day and Nanoswarm, and one paranormal fantasy, Rise of the Jinn. They’ve been well received, selling thousands of copies. Many readers genuinely love the fast pace and thought provoking concepts. I’m hard at work on my next book, which should be out soon.

I was born in Ashland, Virginia, studied psychology and economics at the College of William and Mary and received an MBA from the University of Richmond. I’ve worked in various fields including advertising, software, and investment banking.

I am the Founder of three discount book promotion websites, BookBarbarian.com (Science Fiction and Fantasy), RedRosesRomance.com (Romance and Erotica) and BookAdrenaline.com (Mysteries and Thrillers). If you want a daily dose of free and discounted novels, go to any of these sites and sign up for free.

Throughout my life, I’ve always sought out new and exciting experiences and have had the good fortune of traveling around the world. I’ve hiked through the jungles of Colombia and climbed the mountains of Peru to the ancient Incan city of Machu Picchu. I’ve sand boarded down giant sand dunes in South America and skied through the Italian and Austrian Alps. I’ve scaled the slopes of Mount Parnassus in Greece and walked through the ruins of the Temple of Apollo where the Oracle of Delphi once whispered prophetic tales.

In 2008, at the height of the financial crisis, I left a high stress job in investment banking, sold my possessions, and moved to an exotic foreign country to be with the woman I love.

I currently live in the sun baked Caribbean port city of Cartagena, Colombia with my beautiful wife and two children.
