About Barry Freeman

I was born in Bedford in 1940 as the Second World War was just getting under way. I left school at 15 and became a television engineer. By the age of 18 I had my own light engineering business and I spent my whole working life as an inventor and entrepreneur.
When I was in my forties I developed something of a talent for creative writing. I now have several completed books, written largely for my own amusement. I am told that they have some merit and have therefore decided to polish them up and get them into print.
Because my writing is a little quirky with many unusual characters and not a little humour I decided to offer the 'Nufink for 'Nufink' short story free as a 'taster'. Please go to my website to download it on the 'freebook' page
I always believed I was writing for children but now I find that kids from six to ninety six seem to find them amusing. If you enjoy reading 'Monty's Boots' or 'Cobweb Curtains' please add me to your 'favourite author list' to make sure you are alerted as I publish more in due course.,

What a wonderful entertaining book. I will be recommending this to my daughter in law who is a school moderator so that she can download it and show it to the schools she visits. Charming !!
