An elderly woman is possessed by a poem into kidnapping a stranger and torturing him in her cellar. More
Mrs. Jameson is an elderly woman who lives alone. She is extremely bright but equally misanthropic. She also loves to write poems, which she has been doing since she was a child. After years of not seeing her grandchildren, who are basically been tacitly kept away from her by her son and daughter due to fears concerning her negative influences, she becomes consumed with loneliness and resentment. She also becomes increasingly irritated by strangers coming to her house to ask for previous inhabitants who no longer live there. She is gradually possessed by a poem she writes, without knowing it, to kidnap, imprison and torture a visitor who comes asking for someone else who used to live in the house. Ultimately, the poem possessing her is leading her to commit murder.
