About Vincent Berg

After writing fifteen books, Vincent Berg decided to turn to something he’s intimately familiar with, but has only marginally broached in his previous stories. Suffering from Asperger’s when young, Juvenile Diabetes in his teens, and ‘Schizoaffective Disorder’ in his forties, Vincent wrote The Demons Within as homage to alternative medicines and their struggle to gain acceptance. But the story grew into more. Like Phil, Vincent though his suffering, learned humanity and kinship with others, and hopes the book will extend the messages from his muses to others.

The book took over a year to write because of Vincent’s recent mental and physical health issues, so the story took a dark turn. Once completed, he was free to write a lighter, less conflicted sequel, Speaking With Your Demons. The new book, now well under way, explores the challenges of using your afflictions to connect with other, even when your social skills are hampered by your issues.
