Seriously. I love Cassandra, who is badass and hurt but loving and her relationship with her brother and sister-in-law is so much fun and such a pleasure to "see". I love how Cassandra realizes that her life isn't completely smashed to hell as the story develops!

Her ex-fiancΓ© is awesome too! He's nice and gentle and hot and so good for her! Such a great relationship and a delight to read since it's always touch-and-go with romance these days, so many stories falling way too far into creepy and stalkerish. But here there's nothing of this. He's clearly still in love (and damn, so she is) but so nice. And it makes me want to hug him, to see how she hurt him without meaning.

And the plot! Elves! Magic! Trolls! I love how the universe is so casually waved, like trolls are mentioned and met like it's no big deal and the ladies in charge, damn right! πŸ’œ

The next book of the series is out next month and I CAN'T WAIT. I wish that I could read it right now :D πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ
