Great Novel, touching and exciting from the first to the last page. Not big science ideas, just "Supergirl meets Superman", very entertaining. Get it. I just purchased the sequel (Dark World), at 99 cents fair enough.
Remark: Normally I do not give ratings with stars.

I loved this book. It is a bit different to most sci-fi in that it has a touch of romance and is as much about the characters as the actual plot. The basic story involves a young woman stranded when her colony world is attacked. When rescue arrives she finds that her rescuer leads her into a series of adventures which force her to change her views and attitudes.
I am planning to read the second book.
