Nicely written short story. Not a lot of drawn out detail, but the characters had enough imagery to relay the story meaning. Could have been a bit longer, but it played very well. Although the ending was a bit abrupt, I got it... just desserts!!!

I don't like to criticize but the story is sort of flat. It presents a real creep villain and a somewhat sympathetic victim, but the action at the end (for me) came out of nowhere. I didn't see any hint for the person doing what they did. But it is well-written and perhaps I simply missed it.
