About Oscar Hinklevitch

Okay, so my real name isn't Oscar. Oscar Hinklevitch is a tribute to my granddad, who was and is my hero. Whenever anyone would ask him his name, he'd reply, "Oscar Hinklevitch". Of course, that wasn't his real name either.

What?!! You think I'm going to give you that most privileged and secret information, my real name? Not likely. :)

I love sci-fi and fantasy, many movies, my family and God. Of course, there are many other things, but I can't list them all.

BTW, my chapters are long. Sorry if that's not your style...I just write, letting it flow as it will.

I never thought I'd write a book. Me and English were never the best of friends. Yet here I am, a writer of novels. Fourth Birth began as a dream I had, one week before my family moved to Alaska. I didn't begin writing it for a very long time after I had the dream. The sequel was finished in less than five months, in spite of a great family tragedy while I was writing it. Of course, Fourth Birth was supposed to be a stand alone novel. There was no intention of there ever being a sequel. Guess that plan went the way of most plans...envision a puff of smoke, after a very large explosive device goes off. :) Big crater...

I have four, or more, other stories in various stages of development, so check back to see where things stand. But keep in mind, I do have a life outside of writing, as much as I sometimes wish I could always be writing.

If you are kind enough to read my stories, and I really hope you are, please vote and comment here on WattPad and leave a review at Amazon and on GoodReads. All authors need that support and are very grateful for it.

I truly hope more than anything that you enjoy my stories and that they spark your imagination. That's what reading a novel is all about, after all.
