About Lina Psouni

Lina Psouni was born in 1978 in Chania, Greece. She has a first-class BSc in Physical Education and Sport Science and a second in Psychology. Also, she has PhD in body weight and doping psychology, and MSc in maximizing athletic performance with thesis subject in Sport Psychology.

In conjunction with her studies, she was a water polo athlete. She won the world champion with the juniors’ women water polo national team of Greece and won the Greece championship. Now she is competing in a lot of sports including beach volley, sailing and triathlon.

Her scientific interests are in the areas of health psychology, weight management, sports psychology, attitude, and behavioral relationships. She has published in Greek and foreign conferences and writes articles in the press and online. At the same time, she makes seminars in sports psychology and health psychology.
