J. Keith Jones is an award winning author of four books, the novel, “In Due Time,” “The Boys of Diamond Hill,” “Georgia Remembers Gettysburg” and “Echoes From Gettysburg: South Carolina’s Memories and Images.” He has published stories at Georgia Magazine, Gettysburg Magazine, Dew on the Kudzu and Thunder Sandwich. He is twice winner of the Gold Medal for History from Military Writers Society of America and the 2017 Henry Timrod Southern Culture Award from the Military Order of Stars and Bars. He is a native of Georgia and a graduate of the University of South Carolina. He now lives in North Carolina.
