About Rick Incorvia

I was one of nine children growing up in the 70’s where controlled chaos was the status quo. In my family, if you didn’t create your own image you got lost in the crowd. Admittedly, I was a bit of a trouble maker and sometimes liked being lost in the crowd, or at least unaccounted for. If I wasn’t scheming a plot to get rich, I was imagining myself as 007 or an Ocean’s Eleven participant. To quote my father: “You sure can tell a whopper of a story. We should have named you MaveRick.” Since so many have found my stories entertaining thus far, it’s time to share them with the world. Welcome to the deepest, darkest corners of my imagination.

I first learned about this author when my book club introduced me to Reckless Ambition a few years back. Last year I read In Your Dreams and I was hooked. Incorvia does a great job of developing plausible characters and the plots keep you intrigued. These are great books and easy reads. I love discovering new authors who aren't afraid to leave the "cookie-cutter" thriller and take some risks. I loved the premise behind this book and it captured my attention right away—and kept it. I'm looking forward to more from this author.

In "The Gift", a crime fiction thriller by Rick Incorvia, the reader ponders some grave "what if" scenarios, as a brilliant biochemist discovers the secret behind everlasting memory, and being able to use 100% of the brain's potential. As with Rick's usual style, the book takes you on a journey of mystery and fast-paced intrigue, laced with just the right amount of dark humor. As you get to know each of the book's characters, you'll likely be wondering, 'Is this a good guy... or a bad guy?'" ~ Mary Orme
