Roles in relationships and why they matter is a book that I believe can help a lot of poeple better understand eachother, or at least understand the actions of their significant other. It explain why your ex might treat you in a completely different manner that she does her new boyfriend, and how you can achieve what you want from a relationship. The logic is solid(though hypothetical) and makes sense. As the author says, to use these techniques in a relationship might take a lot of practive, say four years. But that time in 4 years is going to arrive anyway, so you might just spend it learning how to behave and act with your spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend
