Five big stars! I enjoyed reading “Pro Bono (A Larry Hathaway thriller)” by Abbe Alexander, a detective legal thriller story that develops with each page turn. The author tells the story in the third person giving the reader a great amount of detail on the events and conversations which broaden the story. The reader also becomes very familiar with the characters in the story.

The author builds the tension slowly as the story develops and tells the story clearly, yet the reader becomes unaware of where the story will go next – kind of like taking a simple walk in the park only to discover there is a lot happening all around as the reader learns more facts - bit by bit - and these facts/ puzzle pieces make the story come together at the end. There is a great ending as well.
It’s an especially great story for those who love teen heroes, detective work, courtroom proceedings, computer technology, mystery, and thrills.

Enjoyed this story! Well done!
