Hi Dear Lovers of Clean Romance novels.
What a privilege to meet you here. My name is Jenny Dawson, and I love to read romance novels just like you do. Well, to read them, but even more to write them.
To think that I am in a position, as a writer, to create the world precisely as I envision it, make up the characters as I feel like it, and produce the most intense emotional stories possible, just fills me with appreciation.
I have been married since 2005, and have three children. Two girls, and one son. My loving husband supports my writing, and he is my greatest inspiration when it comes to true love!
We all love the beaches here in the little coastal picturesque town where we live. Taking the grill to the beach with some friends and enjoy the sunset and a glass of Beaujolais, while the kids are building their sandcastles… well, I live for those moments!
That´s when my imagination begins to wander, and I want to recreate those moments for my friends in my books. You know, to give them the same intense feelings of joy and happiness.
But as we both know, life is not made up of sunny days and scents of roses. There are hardships, failures, worries, sorrows. In those situations, the true heroes shine. The mother who is left by her husband for giving birth to a daughter with Down Syndrome, and provides for her for several years all by herself…. That’s a hero! And I know her, she is my neighbor.
Or the little boy who has a younger brother in a wheelchair, whose mother died, and a hardworking, absent father? Picture him getting his brother ready in the morning, helping him to the school bus, looking out for him in school…. That’s a hero.
I want to honor those kind of people. They inspire me. So I write about them and give them all the problems they can handle, and let them solve them, and then let them live happily ever after.
So, it’s about Romance! Clean Romance. Contemporary Romance.
But also about humans! Those wonderful, weird, totally predictable, completely unpredictable, loving, hating, beings that walk this planet.
It’s about them and their emotions.
