M.P. Jones was raised in the northern town of Leigh in Lancashire, England but has lived in Toronto, Canada for the past ten years.
Although a Medieval History graduate, he is a Chartered Accountant by profession.
Apart from reading and writing, his other hobbies include supporting Leigh Centurions Rugby League Club and listening to Marillion (www.marillion.com) - both of which he highly recommends!
Growing up, he read plenty of Enid Blyton, Anthony Buckeridge and Roald Dahl and soon progressed to enjoy the work of C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, David Eddings, Bruce Winter and C.J. Sansom amongst others.
"Mason Wilson & The Dead Bird Debacle" is his first work of fiction, but he has been writing non-fiction articles in various publications for a number of years.
