Sean was living a normal life until one day he wakes up with a sudden realization: he is dead. Every part of him is acutely aware of his dead state, but in a society where death has been 'cured', he cannot so easily advertise his feelings. I was confused from start to finish on the main plot of the story. There was no actual explanation (not even briefly) on why those who were dead thought they were so.
And what's up with all the profanity and unnecessary usage of sexual innuendo? I don't mind it, but it's a story of kids, and I don't see why some of that is used.

Set in a time when Death no longer stalks the Earth we follow Sean as he wakes up one day to find himself deceased. As he tries to go about his normal routine, he finds that he is not alone in his predicament and seeks the help of a classmate in an effort to convince others that he is in fact dead, with somewhat disastrous results. A rather tongue in cheek look at life and death and the power of society in changing the way people think, act and feel.

Nicely written. I like the way an illogical premise is maintained to the very end.

Love this story! Very clever, with a snarky voice that will make you laugh and an interesting commentary that will make you think. Well done! This is great!
