I was not able to stick to the fasting part of this book.but the few times I did, I would lose about 2 lbs each day and keep it off as long as I kept with the low carb. The author is very honest--this is a hard diet to follow but it WILL work for you and quickly if you have great self-discipline. I lost 5 lbs the first week, just fasting for two 12-hr periods and eating 30 carbs per day. The author will actually respond to your email questions. I have found I can live with low carb but not fasting. I'm just too busy and get exhausted with three jobs and three little kids.

At least this writer acknowledges the existence of people with eating disorders. That's more than most people do with these kinds of horrible 'books.' I really wished Smashwords banned this sort of drivel. Diet books may well become politically unacceptable in the near future.

The writer's backstory creates the impression of a person who had an eating disorder, making this terrible book particularly irresponsible.

The overwhelming majority of people who lose weight fail to keep it off for more than five or ten years, and they usually gain back more than they lost. More than half a century worth of research verifies this. This book offers nothing new on the subject.

Wow! This diet is EVERYTHING it says it is: very difficult, with rapid results, and worth every penny. When I followed the rules exactly as laid out (and only drank water — no food — after 6pm) I lost an average of 1.6-2.1 lbs PER DAY! When coupled with just 15 minutes of exercises, the overnight weight kids was practically guaranteed!
