About Stefanie Olsen

Stefanie is an artist and author living in New England, USA. In "real life", she's worked in the field of medicine for many years. Despite the fact she forbid them to do so, her three children grew up and got their own lives, freeing Stefanie to return to writing, her first love, if you don't count bugs. Or birds. Or any of the other scientific pursuits to which she's been addicted along the way.
She loves research and usually has a couple of short story and non-fiction projects hanging about, in addition to her current novel. In her non-writing time, Stefanie enjoys kayaking, swimming, and all things geeky, including geology, ornithology, photography, and coding websites.
