About Nathaniel Christian IV

Born in Washington D.C., Nathaniel's love for writing began at an early age. He acknowledges writing as his calling. In 2005, he began writing as a freelance author, eventually receiving an invitation into sports journalism [boxing] before embarking on a career in self-publishing. Since then, he has published several diversified titles and continues to thrill readers through powerful anecdotes on a variety of controversial topics. His blog, for instance, is cerebral in its manifestation of his eccentric state of mind.

In 2016, he self-published Stroke of Luck, a non-fictional e-Book account of his wife's (then fiancé's) remarkable recovery to overcome a cryptogenic ischemic stroke on her brainstem. The story was featured in the Washington Post's Style Section and also earned this writer a segment on WJLA's Good Morning Washington, News Channel 8. Since the release of Stroke of Luck, Nathaniel, along with his wife, volunteer their free time to speak with patients, caretakers and medical staff as advocates for stroke in young adults. Together, the two are changing lives, one thought at a time.

Hoping to someday become a full-time author, in the meantime, Nathaniel enjoys writing, reading, fitness and classic horror flicks from the 1980s.
