I found this book to be refreshingly clear, insightful and inspiring to read. It's well-written and easy to follow, while addressing some quite profound matters relating to meditation, mindfulness and emotional and general well-being. I found the author's combined knowledge and experience in the practice of yoga, meditation, counselling and psychotherapy quite unique. It's also heartfelt and down to earth and doesn't have the aura of pseudo-spirituality that some books in this genre have. The concept of the jhanas was completely new to me and quite fascinating.
