Lights flickering and a cloud of dust create questions in the morgue. But the really bizarre occurrence—there’s clothing without a body on the examining table. The doctor’s trying to figure out what happened to the victim’s remains. Unfortunately, a news reporter has heard of the event and approaches the police captain who covers up something on his desk with a newspaper. When he’s called away, the reporter takes what he hid. She may have gotten more than she bargained for.
Written with great imagination that keeps readers turning pages, this small sample is a great introduction to Miss Mae’s books of mystery and fantasy.
I highly recommend it for a fascinating, quick read.

Not overly good or bad

The ending leaves you dreading and willing to give up any arrogance and unbelief you may harbor. Does the entity only go after humans that harbor bad attitudes? The dialogue and descriptions do a fine job of setting the scene.

Unleashed is a short, but riveting story by suspense author Miss Mae. Some shadowy "THING" is responsible for the disintegration of human flesh. What is it? Will they trap it before it spreads through the entire human race?

A better question: Will YOU be the same after you've read Unleashed? Good question.
