Rated 4.00/5 based on 1 reviews
Life is unpredictable when man and animal are mixed inside of a house and both of them think they are the master. Now throw in 3 more cats and the story is interesting each day that i awake, if I awake!
So enjoy as you read and forgive me for the flashbacks I bring.

About Steve Lake

Today i am a clown of words. Life is too serious so in my writing of poetry and other works i like injecting it with a pinch of humor. I color outside the box and cross the line that others try to restrict me to. If i can bring on one laugh or a smile I have done my job!
I try to write modern day poetry with the understanding of today with simplistic terms and words. My poetry is like a short story set to verse. Let me transport you back into a Déjà vu of memories good and bad alike.
So upon my fathers passing i avowed to write 1000 poems before i draw my last breath. To share with others my thoughts though sometimes twisted and skewed. Most importantly a since of freedom to be now what I should have been then, a clown of words.
The only reward I seek through my writings is to create a smile upon your face and to wash away your cloudy days.
So please join me on my journey of a promise made to him and myself to be more without restrictions placed upon us by society.
Feel free to be positive about my writings and if you feel the need to be negative do what i do when i take a poop, flush the unwanted paper down the drain.

Cats are nuts. Or is it only these ones?

Heh. This is an enjoyable, quick read with good energy and imagery! It made me smile. Favourite bit:

"So I throw toys around like Santa Claus
But I don’t chant ho-ho-ho
I scream go-go-go"

I dunno. I just liked that a lot.

Anyways, I will happily check out more of your work after this, Steve. Thanks for the nice read.

I understood this while reading the second time. It was a fun read. The best part was that the dog doesn't come to help the owner when the cats torment him. lol
