Every person in this world is a descendent of a common parent, ‘the Adam and Eve’. But with time, men parted into different groups on the basis of profession, interests, practices etc. later on, due to this separation people started drifting apart socio-economically and the time came that this division turned into religion and casteism. Now this casteism has taken a face of extremism and the people belonging to every other group consider themselves as superior than another and are not ready to stand someone from different caste. Self-proclaimed superiors have always tried to suppress another group. People try to impose their ideology howsoever. Practice of false propaganda, accusations, defamation etc. are being widely employed.
Recently, there has been multiple attempts of defamation of religion Islam. One of the accusation is that the women in Islam has no freedom and no rights. The groups falsely propagating this issue posed themselves as better and humbler towards everyone. The effect of which, some innocent Muslims started to believe so and felt inferior and regressive in following the teachings of Islam.
Although this accusation has been disproved by the Islamic scholars but I myself wanted to study and analogise the rights and status of women in other religions like Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism etc. with the rights of women in Islam and what came out is very astonishing. I found that no religion has given as much rights to women as Islam.
In this book, I have briefed and evidenced in the light of Holy Qur’an and Hadith about what being a woman means in Islam, what is the meaning of mother in Islam, what is the place of wife, what does daughter mean and what is the status of a sister in Islam. I have also shed the light on rights and status of women in Judaism, Christianity and Hinduism and as per my findings, none of these religions have granted as much comprehensive and complete rights as Islam. In Islam, a descriptive guidance exists for every stage and every step of life which is its beauty and makes it standout. That is why, most of the portion of this book has been ornamented with the teachings of Islam. This book also features the thoughts and views that thinkers and intellectuals have on the status and rights of women.
