About Mary Conway

I've had a passion for books my whole life and began writing my own stories aged eleven. I enjoy participating in NaNoWriMo and experimenting with genres, though romance will always be a staple. I love sweet romances that focus on the emotional relationship that develops between two very different characters. Having lived in beautiful East Devon for most of my life I've used my local knowledge to build up a detailed and realistic setting of a desolate seaside town for my debut novella, A Grey Valentine's.

A beautiful and engaging tale of two lost souls. One is a wanderer. One has never left home. But they are both searching for the same thing.
I loved the descriptive writing and felt the small, fading sea side town came to life. I can understand the pull Chrissie felt to her home town.
I enjoyed this book so much and I really hope this author produces more.

Wonderful, heartwarming, and sincere.
There is no doubt that A Grey Valentine's was written with nothing less than pure true love in mind, and is a refreshing take on the romance genre. It's been a long time while I've felt such strong, genuine emotions about the characters in a story, and I was thoroughly gripped throughout.
Truly superb. I would recommend A Grey Valentine's to anyone.
