I’ve never really seen eye to eye with my ultra-liberally minded son. He was admittedly much smarter than me in many ways. He just lacked a realistic view point. His ideas (which resembled my own when I was his age, as much as I hate to confess), were not based in reality. They were based in a fantasy world were humans acted out of compassion rather than greed.
