I do like this story and its basic premises. I think this author has a lot of potential. I do like how he works character, events and places from the Christian Bible into a very uniquely written fantasy story all his own while throwing characters and places that are completely of his own imagings into the mix.

The above being said - this book and its predecessor are nowhere near worth the lavish praise and five star reviews that they are receiving. The editing could have been much better. Also, this author is nowhere near being a master of the English language. He uses words that he obviously doesn't know what they mean. For example - he uses the word "prone" when it is obvious that "supine" would be the correct adjective. And there are other instances of this with other words. He often uses the wrong adverbs. He also seems to believe in a lot of crass egalitarian nonsense about life judging by some of his prose.

Everything being said - although I do like this author's story in a way, bottom line is that it's pretty average work in the end.

Speechless. Love this series. The characters are awesome, real, believable and they make mistakes! Even the divine ones.

The Goddess is back and book 2 doesn't disappoint! Frank Perez once more takes us on an insane adventure where the creator of everything, a Goddess is finally pushed beyond breaking point! Creative weaving of the lives of all involved. Don't want to post any spoilers but damn - how many male Gods does it take to stand up to one Goddess? All of them! This series is living up to promise of the original. I can't wait for the next!
