Robert Grubbs has worked in the child care field for over twenty years, starting in 1980 as a Home Visitor for a local community action Head Start program.
He has held various positions within this agency, culminating as one of their Center Directors in 1991.
It was during this time that he learned the importance of good nutrition and why it is important to select a variety of foods that supply all the nutrients children need each day.
“Nothing can be more important than ensuring the health and safely of our kids. As parents, we must do everything that we possibly can to help our children grow into strong and healthy adults”.
Robert Grubbs has done expensive research on the subject and consulted with friends and family for their input and ideas.
As a result of his work, “Cooking for Kids” was written as a guide to assist parents in meal preparation and to better understand the importance of good nutrition.
Robert Grubbs is also a published songwriter. He lives in Forrest City, Arkansas with his wife and Two kids.
