About Jill Marie Baker

Ms. Baker grew up on military bases and joined the Army straight out of high school. She then went on to earn a BS in Early Childhood with a Minor in Criminal Justice. She held a number of jobs afterward working with teenage parents, juvenile delinquents, and homeless families. She earned an MS in Administrative Studies during that period. THEN she became a wife and mother - and it changed her life. Her husband currently owns a children's music business and she has been lucky enough to be a part of it for over ten years. Ms. Baker resides in Sioux Falls, SD with her husband and two sons.

This collection is aptly named...Snapshots. Poignant slices of life, sometimes momentous, sometimes workaday, but always insightful. The slivers of life captured here leap off the page, carrying you with them as they flutter skyward. A great read, and worth more than the price you'll pay.

It was so creative and I could relate to many of the poems! Worth the purchase, because if you're having a bad day, many of the poems lift up your spirit!!:)
