About the Series: Can a Girl Get a Break
Sasha is forced to raise her 5 children alone in a drug and crime filled neighborhood in the city of Boston after her husband was murdered during a robbery. Sasha tries to be strong and keep it altogether but as time goes on it gets harder because of the teenage years. Her oldest daughter Monique gives birth at the tender age of 14 while her middle daughter struggles with being accepted by her peers. Sasha also has a set of 5 year old twins one born with disabilities that hinders his learning so she has to balance a lot on her plate leaving her oldest son to take on the role of "dad" at an early age.Through all the ups and downs Sasha manages to raise her children and provide them with a decent up bringing despite living in such a rough environment.
