San Luis Stations of the Cross

Rated 5.00/5 based on 1 reviews
The San Luis Stations of the Cross relates each of the stations to the sufferings of people in the world today. If we view the sufferings of Jesus on the road to His crucifixion to the sufferings of people in the world today it brings us into a different union with Jesus. These meditations were inspired by the author's pilgrimage to the Shrine of the Stations of the Cross in San Luis, Colorado. More

About Deacon T. Patrick Bradley

Born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania I was raised in Port Vue. I attended Catholic schools and graduated from St. Peter High. After graduation my family moved to Monterey, California. I have moved around since then. I retired after serving 24 years in the Air Force. While in the Air Force I was stationed in New Jersey where I completed formation for the diaconate and was ordained for the diocese of Camden in 1980. I subsequently was transferred by the Air Force and served in parishes in the diocese of Oakland, the Archdiocese for the Military (then the Military Ordinariate), the Archdiocese of Denver, and the Diocese of Cheyenne. After retiring in 2012 I moved to Spokane where I am listed as a retired deacon.

While in Denver I completed a Masters in Counseling and a program of Clinical Pastoral Education. I was board certified as a hospital chaplain by the National Association of Catholic Chaplains.

This devotional was inspired by my visits to the Shrine of the Stations of the Cross in San Luis, Colorado. The life size statues of the Stations on the hillside are inspirational. I recommend you visit and pray there.

This version of the Stations of the Cross meets you where you are. Deacon Pat challenges the reader to associate each station with something in his/her everyday life and offers examples for doing just that. He brings the Passion right to your door and into your life.
