About Mege Gardner

Mege Gardner is called "mom" by most of her six kids, who are all very inquisitive and intelligent. She has been writing and blogging to educate and irritate them and others for over twenty years. The emptying nest and eerie quiet of a large square house in the country has inspired her to create the first of a series of novels about people who do not want to have kids in the first place. It's titled "Undertakers, Harlots and Other Odd Bodies" and is set in 1895 near her ancestral home, which is far less fancy than it sounds.

Any questions will be carefully considered and carelessly answered on her blog, just email mom@askyermom.com or tweet to @MegeGardner and then cook your own dinner.
