About Alexis Donkin

Alexis Donkin is passionate, purposeful, and prolific. If Margaret Atwood and C.S. Lewis had a lovechild, it would be her.

Alexis currently lives in Southern California with her family and real-life familiar. She has lived many places and studied many things. Between writing, speaking, and chasing her kid, she paints, sings, and dances. Sometimes she does it all at once. Review by: Shannon Cal on Aug. 30, 2011 :
Very engrossing-literally couldn't put it down! An interesting premise, a new take on a classic theme, and intriguing characters. While I am a fantasy novel fan, even those who don't usually enjoy those books will likely still dig this. This is a solid and enjoyable YA supernatural romance-if that's your thing, you'll like this. If that's not your thing-it hasn't been in the past for me-you might like it anyway! Looking forward to the sequel.
