About Mary Keenan

My father was born in England to Irish immigrants. Although my Father's attitude to organised religion was luke-warm my English-born mother placated my Grandparents by sending me to a Convent school in Surrey which my parents' could ill afford.

I didn't learn an awful lot about religion at the convent, or much else for that matter other than boys but I used to love listening to my Grandparents' stories about their lives a lot of which I am sure were made up to keep the child happy.

I live in the country in the South of England with my two children and various pets. When I am not cleaning, feeding or consoling either a child or pet I write stories which I hope are sensitive and humorous.
